Winery Touring with Wine Country Safari

Wine Country Safari specializes in tours of small, highly acclaimed wineries offering tasting of exceptional, limited quantity wines. Tasting is normally conducted by the wine maker and/or owner of the winery and includes wines available now and barrel tasting of future releases.

Our Vans are driven by entertaining, knowledgeable, and professional drivers. The vans are luxuriously comfortable and we normally tour with 4-6 guests. A 14 passenger van is available for larger groups.

We are a quality touring company specializing in private, by appointment tours of small wineries where the winemaker is concerned with producing excellent wine, not meeting a quantity quota.

Winery Tours are typically seven hours from 10 AM to 5 PM. We pick you up and return you to your hotel. You will visit six - eight wineries and picnic in the vineyards at midday.

We appreciate the opportunity to customize your day in the wine country to your taste and budget. Whether you are a Pinot-only aficionado, the curious type wanting to know a bit of viticulture and the wine making process, or a novice wanting to learn how to taste and appreciate quality wines ... we will provide a tour which will be entertaining, informative and fun.

Tours are currently available in the Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Alexander Valley, Russian River, and Santa Cruz Mountains.

Our unpretentious, ultra luxurious (on the inside) California Certified Clean Air Vans operate on natural gas so our tour has as little impact on the Wine Country environment as possible. Please note our wrap-around windows giving every passenger full views of the beautiful vineyards and countryside.

We have no stretches, ultra-stretches, maxi-stretches or any other kind of taste-stretching limousines. But we are firm believers in luxurious comfort. Our small vans are equipped with large leather captain's chairs and settee to insure your comfort and pleasure throughout the tour.

We specialize in taking you to small, limited-release wineries producing exceptional wine, often available only at the winery.

Entering the Wine Country in the Carneros District then on to Sonoma Valley and Sonoma Town then Napa Valley.

Guests typically spend an additional $30-$50 throughout the day on tasting fees, picnic food & wine, driver tip, etc.

Confirmation & Travel Voucher:

For every confirmed booking you will receive an e-mail with a link to your E-Ticket Voucher - when your booking is confirmed. Print voucher on your home/office computer. Please present this E-Ticket voucher at the Tour Office.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations seven days before touring will receive full refunds. Cancellations under seven days will be charged a $50 cancel fee. No shows are charged 100%.
