Heading eastbound from the city, the Napa Valley is located just under a one-hour drive from San Francisco. Crossing the Bay Bridge and passing Treasure Island, our adventure finds us in the East Bay of the city. Following a short interstate drive, you'll quickly notice the change in landscape as the rolling hills of the wine country appear in the distance.
The Napa Valley's climate and soil have made it one of the world's greatest wine growing regions. It has long been know for its ability to grow Bordeaux grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. It was later discovered that the southern part of the valley, particularly the "Carneros Region" next to the San Francisco Bay, was ideal for growing the grapes of Burgundy including Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Enjoy a full day of wine tasting and touring in the country's premium wine making region. Your day will begin by crossing the Golden Gate Bridge and driving through scenic Marin County. After passing through the Carneros district of Sonoma we arrive in southern Napa.
Napa Valley is home to over two hundred wineries, offering world class quality wines and incrediable scenery. Your knowledgable tour guide can recommend winery visits and photo stops but the itinerary is at your discretion. An average tour will include 3-5 wineries with tastings and a production tour.
Please call us well in advance to schedule private tours or visits to 'appointment only' wineries. Also you can add your winery requests to the online form.
