We were very pleased with our "Ride the Duck tour" and the credit really must go to our driver "Captain John". Tour drivers make all the difference in the world in there deliverance of information about the city that you are visiting and Captain John made it so enjoyable even for a guy like me that was not to hip on the idea of doing the ultra touristy thing of Riding the Duck. Captain John went above and beyond and because we were his last ride of the night was able to do for our group a little extra. Lenghth of The Tour:
The perfect length. Your sightseeing adventure lasts about 80 minutes with about 25 minutes of that time on the water. We pass by many of the important points of history and current event sites to give you an overview of the area. The uniqueness of our vehicle also allows you to interact with the street so you get a real feel for life in San Francisco. We leave you plenty of time to go back to the sites where you really want to spend more time.
Restrooms Onboard:
Sorry, no room. Go before you go. There are restroom facilities near our boarding locations. Any of our crew will be happy to direct you to the nearest facility.
Handicapped Accessibility:
We can accommodate guests with various disabilities. Ducks are Handicapped Accessible, however limited.
Will I get wet?
Probably not. We try to make our entry into the water fun, but not wet. However, there may be times when a little splash will make its way onboard.
Life Jackets:
Enough for a vehicle full of adults, children or a mix of both. We also have a duckload of other modern safety equipment on board. By the way, we have never had to use any of them, but you can never be too prepared.
